Ashney Shelly is running for a position on the COCISD School Board (position 2) to represent and serve you and your family. She is seeking your vote on or before May 31, 2021.  Ashney is currently pursuing a Jurisprudence Degree to practice Educational Law.  With a Master's degree in School Counseling, a background as an educator, and the invaluable experience of being the mother of two children currently enrolled in COCISD, Ashney can confidently represent the wants and needs of the students, staff, and community as a School Board Member.

• Generalist Education 4-8 Certification

• K-12 School Counselor Certification 

• K-12 Principal Certification

 

As a COCISD board member, Ashney's priorities are addressing students' academic achievement, promoting communication between staff and community, and equipping students for the real world.
